During The Watson Chapel School Board Meeting Monday, March 14th, High School student, Laila McClain and Jr. High School student, Xandria Johnson received recognition from Watson Chapel Superintendent Dr. Andrew Curry and Asst. Superintendent LaDonna Spain for their art work displayed on the storm drains located in down town Pine Bluff. Also, present was Pine Bluff Council member Joni M. Alexander and Kevin L. Harris with photographs of the drain painting.
(Upstream Art of Southeast Arkansas)This is an educational program that utilizes art to communicate the function and importance of storm drains in Jefferson County.


WCHS Choir Students Received Division I Superior Ratings at Region 3 Solo and Ensemble Contest on Saturday, March 19, at HSU in Arkadelphia, AR. Our Students automatically qualify for State and Ensemble Competition on April 9, at Bryant High School in Bryant, AR.!!! The entire Choir made State, and will perform at the State Choral Performance Assessment (CPA) at Bryant High on Friday, April 8, at 2:30 P.M. Congratulations Mrs. Johnson and Choir Members!!!

WCHS Choir performed at the Region 3 Choral Performance Assessment at Lakeside High School in Hot Springs. The Choir earned a Division Level 2 Excellent Rating Performance Rating with Recommendation for State!!! They earned a ll- Rating in Sight Reading. The judges said we sounded great! Hurray!!
The Choir is heading to State!!!


Watson Chapel School District congratulates the new Arkansas Educator Rising President, Keiren Minter.
On Friday, March 11, 2022 in the evening, Keiren was announced as State President for Educators Rising for the State of Arkansas. Keiren is on his way to the State Conference in April of 2022 and the National Conference to compete as a National Representative in Washington DC in June of 2022.
