Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our students and staff, all Watson Chapel Schools will close Thursday, January 9, 2025. Schools will remain closed on Friday, January 10, 2025. All after school activities and events for Thursday and Friday are canceled. Further information on school opening for Monday, January 13, 2025 will be forthcoming this weekend.

WCSD is hosting a food basket giveaway on Monday, December 23 at the WCJH parking lot from 9 am - 12 pm. Baskets will contain meat, sides, and canned goods and will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parents can drive up, pop the trunk, & volunteers will load your vehicle.
School is dismissed for Winter Break beginning December 23. Teachers will return January 3 and students will return January 6.

It's Red Ribbon Week! This is a list of festivities going on at Edgewood Elementary.
This is a reminder to all Edgewood Elementary Parents/Guardians that we will be having our Fall Holiday on Friday 25, 2024. There will be no school on Friday! See you on Monday for Red Ribbon Week. Flyers have gone home and there is a copy attached of the celebrations for next week.
Join us for Kindergarten Fine Arts Program in the Edgewood Elementary Cafeteria. The Program begins at 8:35 am tomorrow October 22, 2024.
Don't forget that tomorrow, Thursday 17, 2024 is Fall Picture Day. Send your students in the clothing you want them to wear for pictures and these pictures will appear in the yearbook. Pictures will begin at 8:00 in the morning. Please send exact cash or order online. No change will be available. Thanks!

WC Cheerleaders are hosting a cheer clinic for PreK-2nd grade students on October 19 from 10-2 and October 21-24 from 4-6 pm. The cost is $35. Applications can be picked up at Watson Chapel Junior High. Please contact ShaLa Jordan at sjordan@wcmail.k12.ar.us for more info.
Edgewood Elementary will be having Waffles With Parents on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. This event will be 7:30-8:30 am.
Only two visitors per child. $5 each at the door and no other children please. This is an event for our students to eat with their parents/guardians.
We will be serving:
Waffles, Sausage, Fruit, Juice & Milk
