WC JROTC was excited to participate as the University of Arkansas at Monticello hosted the Arkansas Supreme Court as part of the courtโ€™s โ€œAppeals on Wheels: Bringing the Courtroom to the Communityโ€ educational outreach initiative. Entergy crews are actively working to restore service, and we will provide another update by 1:00 PM tomorrow regarding the status of resuming normal operations on Friday, September 26, 2025. Dear Parents and Guardians, Due to a power outage at the main building on the Watson Chapel High School campus ONLY, students will be dismissed early today, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 1:00 PM. All other campuses in the district will operate on a normal schedule. Bus routes for the high school will run at the adjusted dismissal time. The high school football team (9-12) will practice immediately upon dismissal. Middle school football will be canceled for today. The district is collaborating with Entergy to communicate a timeline for power restoration. Additional information will be communicated by 7pm today.
